.A.,D.S.Hom.Med.,DOMP,DScO,RHN Valerie is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and Nutritionist. She has recently retired from her homeopathic practice due to time constraints. Her Osteopathic Practice keeps her busy and is where she now chooses to concentrate her energies. With her vast knowledge in a variety of natural health disciplines it assists her in her holistic osteopathic treatments.


Her education began with a degree in Psychology from York University. She then took time to raise her 3 children and went back to school, starting with a course in

reflexology, then taking a 3 year course in Homeopathy at the Canadian College of Homeopathy and additional 2 and 3 part time homeopathic advanced courses. She became a Nutritionist with a diploma from The Canadian School Of Natural Nutrition. Next she competed a 7- year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, with 5 years of courses and 2 years of thesis research and writing. She obtained the William G. Sutherland award for her thesis written on “Uterine Fibroids” and a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice. She has been practicing Osteopathy for many years and has an array of experience treating all age groups and a variety of health issues. She continues to take courses in Osteopathy and has finished biodynamic osteopathic courses to biodynamic XIII.


She has also taken 9 courses in DNS. Her studies continue, as she loves to learn more for the benefit of her clients. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs at her home in Algonquin Highlands and seeing her children and grandchildren as often as she can. Her hobbies are painting, knitting, hiking, yoga and meditation.
